Net's Seafood and Steak

WOW! What GREAT food & wonderful, friendly staff! We live about 35 minutes away in SC and some friends took us to Net's for dinner. It's a large, open, casual restaurant and was the best food & most enjoyable meal we've had in a very long time. Staff was super friendly and efficient and was able to answer all the questions we had about the menu. The portions were large and all of the food was delicious. I had the platter with 3 seafood items and chose catfish strips, fried pee wee shrimp and deviled crab. It came with a side(I got a baked potato), coleslaw, and the soup & hush puppy bar (they also had grits). Normally I don't care for hush puppies, but these were flavorful and not overcooked like most of them are. I haven't been impressed with a restaurant in a very long time, but

We ate on Fri. 4/9/22 our first time. A solid 4: LIKES Soup & hush puppy bar was great. Atmosphere was casual & not rushed, nice view. Grilled shrimp & onion rings were good. Clean & neat. DISLIKES Portion sizes were rather small but I get it, food costs are going up. Paper plates are a turn-off Location is definitely rural - good atmosphere but quite a drive for us. Limitted/no desert choices SPECIAL MENTION The lady who served us was as professional and polished as I have ever seen and I eat out a LOT! She was incredible! Thank you for a pleasant visit.

It saddens me to write this review because the first time we ate there several months ago it was so good. We took my Mom for her birthday on 8/13/2022 because she loves the oysters. When we got there it was very warm inside, and it really was not that busy but it took about 20 minutes to get seated. The waitress brought our drinks and again about 20 minutes later came to take our order. Here is where it turns south. No oysters, no clams, no so I ended up with shrimp and mom with scallops. Now let's talk about this soup and grits bar. The grits were raw and cold and that soup they had was watered down tomatoes and it was awful. When I told the waitress the grits were raw and cold she said she would look into it. She came back and said someone had unplugged the crock pot which I find very ha

This place has a cozy ‘Mom & Pop’ feel to it, and it’s food has the authentic, robust seafood flavor you would expect for it to have for it’s cooking and creations. I have only known them to have one slip up, and that was only with how long it took for our orders to be made and brought to our table, the servers were a bit standoffish and not very sociable, and some of the food in the orders got mixed up. But other than that, it is a good restaurant, and I would recommend it for others to try it for themselves.

first time I've ate here service was great and food was fantastic I had captain platter flounder and fried shrimp it came with one side got french fries.it also come with bar that has grits and hush puppies and tomato type soup . all in all great place eat has big pond that have catfish in it big ones they don't catch them they buy all seafood that they cook.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 waitress we had was very nice and hard working other staff members were all helpful very nice and respectful. will be going back real soon.
