I was looking for a comfortable room to lay my head while on the way to a family reunion nearby. I planned to book a night only, because I don’t care for cheap motels as are typically find in small towns. On a relative’s advice I booked this vintage 1800s B&B. Was I glad I did! ||The hosts, Bob and Kathy, were great: like family, warm and welcoming. The house is full of art, some purchased, some created by Bob. ||Breakfast was healthy with ripe berries and fruit that were deliciously sweet. ||But the huge king bed was the clincher’. It was even more comfortable than our own. So much so I stayed under those covers longer than I’m accustomed to. Chances are, if you're in Sylvania, you have a specific reason :) We attended a family reunion and were fortunate enough to find a spot available at the delightful Kinchley Place - a quintessential B&B experience. We enjoyed an enchanting stay in this historic family home. Our spacious, airy en suite was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Individual A/C was much appreciated on our sweltering weekend. The freshly prepared breakfasts were delicious. Our warm, welcoming hosts and the peaceful atmosphere made this a truly special weekend. Highly recommend! It's the best B&B experience I've had in years. *Recommendation: based on other reviews, I'd suggest making any specific dietary requests in advance. I was in town for work and lucked out with the chance to stay at Kinchley Place. The house was beautiful, clean, and full of character. I had everything I needed - a small fridge and sink, coffee extra towels and blankets, etc. Last but not least, the owners, Kathy and Bob, were fantastic hosts! I was fortunate enough to sit out on the back porch and chat with them for a while in the morning after breakfast. Oh, and the breakfast was wonderful too! I definitely recommend anyone stay here who has the chance.

Without a doubt, Kinchley Place combines southern charm with the beauty of this historic landmark and hospitality which is second to none. Strongly recommend when traveling in the area or for the perfect overnight for any occasion. My sister and I traveled from Connecticut for a family event. Kathy and Bob were perfect hosts during our three night stay. The homemade gourmet breakfasts were served piping hot and on time in order for us to meet our family obligations. Looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

Kinchley Place b&b is a great house, generations old and restored beautifully.|Fortunately, Statesboro was booked for all hotels because the University there was having orientation, so we continued on to Sylvania Ga on our roadtrip and found Kinchley Place.|Kathy and Bill made us welcome. The rooms were beautiful and our bedroom spacious and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning healthy, filling and very tasty.|We highly recommend staying there if anything takes you to the 301 in Georgia !!
