Salmonberry Suites

I visited Homer Alaska over Memorial Day weekend. I was there with 3 of my children and we had an excellent stay at Salmonberry suites. The food was amazing! This B&B is connected with CS Adventures fishing charters. Each morning we woke up early and headed to the boat with a picnic basket full of breakfast burritos or sandwiches. One morning we had the stuffed french toast which was so delicious! Our hosts prepared a special treat for us and cooked up some of the fish we had caught that day. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from "the Spit", and within walking distance from a grocery store. Wow! This place is amazing. My family of 7 loved our stay. Clean, peaceful and convenient. It is so secluded with trees surrounding the entire property but central to downtown homer so we could walk to theaters and restaurants within 3-5 minutes. The owners were amazing to help us with activities and make this a memorable vacation. Then, the fishing charter was the best fishing I’ve ever had, anywhere! Comfortable boat, great fishing and so fun! We took home 135 pounds of halibut and caught all the salmon we wanted in one day on the water. This is a top-notch accommodation and fishing charter! Thank you for hosting us and making this a fantastic vacation. We will definitely be back!

We were 3 ladies travelling Alaska, and I feel we left the best till last! The 2 bedroom suite was very clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, Jeff. The staff were great and the breakfasts delicious; we truly were made very welcome and felt at home! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone heading for Homer. Great location - and a moose came through the grounds!!

In June we stayed with our daughter and three of her children at Salmonberry Suites. The accommodations were clean and the owners made our stay exceptionally pleasant. The breakfasts were wonderful and the fishing trip was memorable. Our grandchildren were especially thrilled with the kindness and attention that were paid to them. I definitely recommend them for a memorable experience.

The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for us: super comfortable beds, great location, lots of space, incredible breakfasts delivered each morning. Jeff was an amazing host——we were treated like family. He was a wonderful resource for suggestions to make our stay in Homer even more special.
