Saint John

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, not only in New Orleans, but in general. Our server, Courtney, knew the finer details of service and made us feel like we were eating in the living room. Chef Darren and Sous Chef Mike maintain the heart and soul of good cooking; the way it should be.

We came in while on our trip to NOLA for happy hour. Even through we only got 2 smalls plates and the corn, everything was amazing. My only complaint is that we didn’t order more. If we find ourselves back in the area, this is the first stop I’ll be making. Excellent spot if you want good food and a break from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St.

Stopped in for happy hour. The service was awesome, there is a decent sized happy hour drink and food menu. Great vibe, and amazing artwork- that you NEED to see up close!! . I would recommend.

The food and drinks were delicious. We went during happy hour, right before dinner service. Julian was an attentive server/bartender, really made our time special.

Chef Michael's dishes at Saint John are true culinary artistry; they're incredibly fresh and articulate. You don't just eat the food, you experience the level of craftsmanship and thought expressed in each dish. In New Orleans' world-class food scene, where the culinary bar is set impossibly high, this place genuinely stands out. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates thoughtful, high-quality dining.
