Safeway Bakery

I have been ordering custom cake here for the past 15 yrs with no issue. Last few years customer service has been going downhill. This year we gave them photo of a simple design. When we went to pickup, the cake was plain white with just the msg written on it. It was supposed to be pink with some simple flowers and leaves. We ended up having to buy a cake off the shelf as we needed one for the party in couple hours. Very disappointed. They assured us when taking the order that they would be able to do the design. But we were handed a plain completely white quarter sheet cake. What a waste of time and big disappointment. Some of the people at the bakery are nice and some extremely rude. Maybe Safeway needs to do something to keep their employees motivated

Been amazing for all the years I've been in Chico but they just keep getting better with time. Not many places I can say that about. Upper Crust is the benchmark bakery.
