Rubicon Pizza

My partner and I come to North Star because it's his favorite place to ski. I do not partake in winter sports so when he is skiing, I like to hang around the village. Rubicon is probably my favorite restaurant at the resort. Service is always consistently good and the food isn't too outrageously priced. I grabbed lunch here recently - had wings and a soda. I loved that the wings were a good size and the sauces were on the side. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. If you wanted to watch a game, there were TVs at the bar area.

I wrote not the best review but after returning time and time again since. I give this place a ten. They are dealing with insane amount of traffic. They sorted any little issues I had and completely transformed my opinion. The food is great, the service is excellent and they seem to genuinely care. Let me tell you food and beverage in a ski resort is dismal at times but these guys are awesome. 10/10 staff. Don’t miss out on the pasta, I love the ravioli and the spaghetti bolognese. They take constructive criticism and for that? Thank you.

We had the Mac n cheese with ham, spaghetti with meatsauce and an appetizer of the garlic toast (looks like a thin pizza). Everything was delicious and great portions that we ended up taking half of everything home. Our server was friendly and came with waters right away. The only thing was that we got seated right by the door, so it was chilly at times, but the restaurant was warm enough that it made up for it. We loved it so much we are going again tonight!

Came in with our two kids on a Friday afternoon around 6pm and found out there was a 20-30 minute wait with the nicest hostess in the world. He informed us we can order to go and sit outside if we were on a time crunch which we were with our 2 year old son. Put our name down and I thought I would give the to go option a try which may be faster and we could dine outside since the kids had their ski clothes on.
