Roman Garden cafe

My wife & I have been going to this resort since 1998. The whole family goes here. We have been eating st the Cafe for at least 10 years. This was our first time under the new ownership. We were clearly disappointed. They used to have real chefs cooking real recipes. These were obviously cooks, heating pre-bought food. My chicken cutlets was terrible as it was a frozen chicken patty heated up & the sauce was jarred variety. We won't waste our time or money in 6 months. We'll now bring a lot of stuff from home. Terrible!

Had a terrific bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Tonight we are trying the grilled cheese. Choice of 3 breads and 3 cheeses. Ask for Julia

We had breakfast. It was a little pricey. Plenty of food. Pancakes were okay. Burrito wrap was a bit chewy. Sausage was a bit bland. The senior crowd might enjoy it. Waiting staff was very good. Quick to answer any questions and the refills on drinks.

Convenient if you’re staying here. Needed a table to work at, so grabbed some food and worked. Not a great restaurant (okay food, sort of pricey), but easy to get to if you don’t want to drive far. Service was good, restaurant not packed. Food tried: - nachos (this was very sketchy) - Caesar salad (good, but $8) - smokehouse burger (solid burger, a little oily but pretty tasty). Asked for a side salad - chicken tenders (not the best crispy wise but they were yummy) - chicken cordon bleu (ham was not it. Had to remove it)

This restaurant is so good, my family and I had to visit it twice. They make decent bar food, like burgers and wings, and they also make incredible Italian dishes. The staff was also super friendly.
