This’s really good place. ❤️Service was amazing. the atmosphere and food are top notch. But be careful- portions of food is huge 🙂
This was a gem of a fine on our vacation, and we came back and ate several nights on our vacation. The food was delicious and the service was always great. The waitress told us all about visiting Woodstock which we had no idea how close we were so we were so grateful she told us. Make sure to save room for dessert because everything was so delicious. Great seating outside too on a nice day.
If you ever find yourself in Callicoon, NY and craving Italian comfort food, Peppino’s on Lower Main Street is an absolute must-stop. Don’t let the small-town vibes fool you—this place serves up serious flavor. First off, their pizza? Easily one of the best I’ve had upstate. Perfectly crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right cheese-to-topping ratio. It’s the kind of slice that reminds you why classic never goes out of style. Now let’s talk about the chicken parm—a golden, cheesy masterpiece. Tender chicken, rich marinara, and bubbling mozzarella all layered to perfection. Every bite felt like a warm hug from Nonna herself. Their chicken alfredo also hit all the right notes—creamy, savory, and generously portioned. The pasta was cooked just right and that sauce? Pure comfort. On
I have been to countless Italian restaurants and consider myself to have pretty high standards when it comes to Italian cuisine. That being said, everything we had here was absolutely delicious. The bolognese and scampi are a MUST!
First time dining at Peppino's and definitely will not be the last. Myself and friend shared an order of baked clams that were excellent. I had chicken marsala that had a sauce not too heavy and not to thin just right. The chicken was pounded to a good thickness and covered with a abundance of mushrooms. My friend had broccoli and garlic over angel hair pasta which she enjoyed. She had lemongello for dessert which she said was moist and delicious. Our waiter Jake was attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend dining at Peppino's.
