Rockport Lobster

If you're looking for the freshest lobster experience, Rockport Lobster is the place. This isn't a restaurant, but a no-frills, authentic lobster shop where you reserve in advance by choosing the size, type, and number of lobsters you want. They'll even cook them for you, ready for pickup at your chosen time. Our lobsters came packed in a styrofoam box and the result was absolutely incredible. Without question, it's the best lobster we've ever had. There's something special about picking them up right at the source, just steps from where the fisherman brings in the catch. Simple, genuine, and unforgettable.

The owner is wonderful, and Rockport Lobster has some of the best lobster I've ever tasted in my life at a very reasonable price. Just grab a bit of butter, find a nice picnic spot (hint: there's one less than 10 minutes away), and have yourself an amazing lunch! They are cash/check only, so be sure to have some handy!

As other reviews have mentioned, we experienced the same rude behavior. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and she told us she had been working since 7 AM and wasn’t going to stay any longer to serve us LOL. She also expected us to have known to call ahead and place our order before arriving. I can't say anything about the lobster, but based on the service alone, we definitely won’t be coming back.

Caught her just before closing and she sold us lobsters fresh out of the steamer. Excellent quality price, and service. Call 30 minutes ahead.
