River 128 Restaurant

went there for happy hour (which was half off apps) and it was an incredible decision. We did the charcuterie and Brussels. Both of which were large portions which we split for two. For our mains we tried the special which was a surf and turf combo of filet and scallops + shrimp. Exceptional. Our server was very kind and the view of the river at sunset was breathtaking. Great place to enjoy the water (you can hear the waves under the deck) and enjoy a nice cocktail. Great date spot.

If you want elevated dining on the waterfront, River 128 is an excellent choice. You have many options of seafood to choose from, and their crab dip is an excellent choice, as well as the Brie appetizer, served warmed with toasted garlic and softened cranberries. Everyone at the table was praising the combination of flavors. Service was exceptional. We chose to sit inside at a booth since it was cold outside; if you want to dine by the waterfront after sunset, come prepared with layers because even with patio heaters you’ll feel the chill. Inside is warm and cozy. We got salads, and the greens were fresh and crispy. The decor is nothing too fancy, and the place is clean.

Lauren was great server. Very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the shrimp appetizer. Lobster tails were great as was the mahi fish dinner and the lamp chops! We will be back.

We had a really nice experience at River 128. The location right on the water makes for a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, and it’s definitely a great spot to sit back and enjoy the view. The wait staff was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. While the food was okay, the quality could use a little improvement to match the overall ambiance and service. All in all, it was an enjoyable outing, and we appreciated the pleasant environment and great hospitality.

Beautiful setting with gorgeous decor; including heaters. Lobster 🦞 tails, filet mignon 🥩 were delicious. Try the side of brussel sprouts. Could’ve been cooked a bit longer, but they were still good overall. LAUREN is the BEST. Next time we dine here we are asking for her.
