My son and I love this local, neighborhood spot. It’s the perfect pit stop before I drop him off at school. He gets a kids hit chocolate and I snag an espresso. The team is always friendly and the beans are always fresh.

I love Rising Star & all their locations. Their coffee is consistently delicious. The baristas were super nice and the service was fast. The location is awesome. I love this Van Akan Market Hall. There are so many options & there's tons of seating and workspaces. Will be back.

I really like their coffee and always leave a good tip. Today I ordered an oat milk cappuccino, and I noticed a shaker with chocolate sprinkles on the counter. When I asked the barista if I could add some to my drink, she said it’s for another drink. I found that response unnecessary and a bit dismissive — a small gesture of flexibility would have gone a long way.

Love this coffee and love that this location is right inside Van Aken. Tons of cool places to sit and enjoy your drink. It’s always very busy so plan to wait for your drinks k but it’s worth it!!

I love Van Aken, and I love coffee, so this place will always be amazing to me. You can really taste the quality of ingredients in their coffees, making the price worth every sip. My husband’s favorite is the promised land, I love to try everything, but do always love a good lavender latte, and then either sit down around the numerous table options in market hall, or walk around the strip and enjoy window shopping and the beautiful weather outside!
