Customer Reviews
We had a good experience at Northstar Café overall. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients--you can tell care goes into what they serve. They pride themselves on farm to table organic ingredients. Everything we ordered tasted good and was satisfying. The service was very good--friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which definitely added to the experience. One thing to note is the ordering setup. You order up front rather than at the table, which felt a bit rushed and didn't leave much time to fully review the menu. Combined with a dinner menu that's fairly limited--mostly salads and burgers--it may not appeal to those looking for a more traditional sit-down dining experience or a wider variety of options. While the food is solid, nothing stood out as especiall
Very chic looking place with open kitchen, pretty lamps and wooden accent wall. We were here for weekend brunch and this place was lovely with friendly staff, great food and beautiful vibe. You enter and order at the counter and then get a table. We were not planning on desserts 🍪 but while ordering our food, they got fresh cookies and we had to order two. It was definitely the best decision of the day. Portions are good here and dishes are well prepared with perfect combination of textures and tastes. I especially loved the sweet potato hash. Frittata was good too. We also had hot chocolate and hot apple cider... Perfect for the cold January morning. Overall we liked this place and highly recommend it.
One of the easiest dining experiences I’ve had. You walk in, order your food, pay and seat yourself. A waiter does bring your food to your table. Classic burger was delicious. Strawberry shake was just okay. It taste like it came from a box and blended with ice. I did feel like I tasted banana. That could be problematic for those with allergies. I could be wrong though. After you’re finished dining, you leave. No waiting on check, waiting on your card. The atmosphere was cozy too. Could remind you of Starbucks.
Twas my first time here on a Sunday around 12:30 and it was packed! Line was out the door! This restaurant has a bit of a different concept, almost like an upscale Panera. You wait in line to place your food order. Serve yourself your own drinks. Find your own table. And someone brings the food over to your table. Despite it being absolutely packed, we were able to find a table; the last one, too! The food was so fresh and tasty. Very vegetarian friendly. I got the mushroom omelette and my husband got the breakfast burrito with added sausage. He loved his! I thought mine was good but nothing wow. The meals were so filling, too! We also got a cookie, scone, and hot chocolate to go. They were very tasty !! What I loved most about this place, though, was the staff. Even though it was so
Elegant and modern looking cafe. Open kitchen area concept is pretty neat. You order 1st and then sit wherever and they seem to have a nice flow, didn't wait long to order and food came out quickly. The servers and staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was very good so it can justify the price a bit. I was very pleased the chicken in my burrito wasn't grisly at all. Their baked goods are also really good, will be coming back for those! Their Mason jar carrot cake...it's worth the almost $10. That thing is so freakin good, if you like carrot cake, that is one of the best ones I've had. Not the best place for picky eaters, menus are small. It's also very popular, so it can get crowded and loud especially next to the bar area.
