Reynolds House Bed & Breakfast

This is a charming, historic inn located walking distance to the Barre opera house. We were warmly greeted by Jeffrey who also provided an ample, delicious breakfast the next morning. The house is beautifully restored, immaculate (bring slippers!), filled with antiques and quite a few lego sculptures. Our room was spacious and warm with a beautiful bathroom and a good, hot shower. We walked to dinner at Ladder 1 grille (also an historic building) and then hopped across the street to listen to a jazz quartet. Would definitely return, there's so much to see and experience in the area and this comfortable inn is well located.

This place was one of the best bed and breakfasts places on our trip. The place was beyond charming and comfortable to stay at. A killer deal for the price. The host was friendly, genuine, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. 5-Stars all around!!

No shampoo, conditioner or lotion. Room was very nice and clean. However the public rooms were not lit and had a gloomy feeling. Host was not cordial, sitting at the breakfast table scrolling through his phone. Answered our questions tersely and went back to his phone. Located on a busy street. Breakfast was okay but we were not asked about food allergies.

What a fantastic experience! The house, a sprawling Victorian, is gorgeous and clearly well loved and well maintained. Every room has been appointed with antique (and period-appropriate!) furniture, adding to the ambiance. I stayed in the Josephine room and about fell in love with the little chandelier in there. I had a wonderfully fun and frank conversation with the host Jeffrey over a tasty and healthy breakfast, which he had prepared. Other important things to note: the water pressure was great, the bed was comfy, and the house puppy Edgar was cheeky and adorable. 1000/10 if and when I am in the area this is the only place I will book.

I have planned to stay in this hotel but had to cancel the booking because we changed our route. I booked via booking.com and it was a free cancellation on the rooms. I was cancelling way in advance (8 months). The prepaid amount they took from my creditcard is still not paid back (2 weeks after). I tried to contact them through booking.com and via email. Nothing works and i got no answer. The e-mail adress is not active anymore and also the website is not working properly. Dear Hotel Manager, if your read this, please contact me. As soon as i get my money back, i will delete the bad review.
