The ladies are alwaysnfriendslym the food is good but its a bit to "americanized"for me. The flavors are kind of bland. I do like the 5 taco plate where you can get up to 5 different kinds of tacos. I usually get the pork carnitas and avocado tacos the best of the choices. And when you add the pineapple and sour cream its fantastic. The meats themselves need a bit more flavoring. Ive tried them several times and a few different dishes. But I now stick to the 5 tacos. I like their street corn. Im allergic to chili n pepper and this doesn't affect my allergy. I sometimes will just stop in to grab that for an evening snack
I was excited to try out this place. Cute Mexican atmosphere in a gas station. As I am learning Spanish and heard everyone in the open kitchen speaking Spanish, I tried to order in Spanish, but was continually answered in English. This didn’t feel very welcoming as I know I sound like a gringo but I was making an effort. Overall, I found the service to be cold. In spite of the service, The food was delicious. The vegetarian taco portion seemed small for the cost.
First time dining in here. Food is very good and comes out rather quickly. There is a garden center attached. Don't be afraid of getting food to take-out or dine-in. There is also a good selection of various ice cream. As always, it you enjoyed this review, please smash the like button!
A hole-in-the-wall eatery built into a gas station. Only ordered the churros. The fried dough had been trimmed into small sticks about the size of dill pickle spears. Well fried and absolutely caked in the typical cinnamon sugar coating. Served with caramel sauce from canned sweetened condensed milk. Dipping the piping hot churros into the caramel and enjoying them really warmed us up on a cold day.
In from Chicago and was told this was a good spot to hit up. Stopped by with my brother and was very, very impressed. I went with the pastor tacos (snapped the pic after eating two of the tacos), and they tasted like one of the taco spots it regularly hit up on Chicago. There was a Jalapeno salsa that was OUT OF THIS world, and the staff I encountered was very, very friendly. The meal I had was pretty filling. I fly out on Sunday and just told my brother I may have to go back and try the rice.
