My sister and brother-in-law were attending a wedding on Memorial Day weekend in Newport. My boyfriend and I accompanied them to watch their young son. Charron was very accommodating, leaving us a high chair and pack and play for him to use. The fridge was stocked with goodies that we would have had to go buy otherwise so that was a nice surprise. The pool is gorgeous! I wish it had been warmer out! Overall, it was a great experience, especially when compared to hotels in the area charging far more than Charron for a single room. We would definitely stay again.

Our family went for our first visit in August to Newport RI for a wedding. We chose Reed Rose Cottage for our stay after much research on Trip Advisor and other sites. ||Well let me start with what a wonderful host Charron was. Upon arrival we found a very clean, light and spacious two bedroom unit. It was stocked with fresh fruit, baked goods and a quiche. ||Our rental is located in a nice residential neighborhood within a 20 minute walk from town and the beach area. We made good use of the backyard Indoor pool that was surrounded by Charron's beautiful garden.||Though Charron lived there we always were comfortable because she respected our privacy. Being there felt very much like it was our place.||I highly recommend Reed Rose. Only two suggestions: Have your own vehicle as public transp

Our first visit to Newport Rhode Island and the Newport Folk festival was so lovely much due to the Reed Rose cottage and hospitality by hosts Charron and Jim Reed. The garden, the pool, the cottage and the hospitality were so charming. Charron went out of her way to accommodate our grandson and he loved the pool after a long hot day at the folk festival. Charron kept the frig stocked with yummy homemade breakfast pastries and quiche, milk, juice and plenty of water to keep hydrated. Our stay and the hospitality of our host was even more than expected. Thank you again, Leanna Olson

The Reed Rose Cottage is a very cute B&B tucked into one of the Newport neighborhoods. It has all of the amenities you could want for a relaxing weekend away - a parking spot, kitchen appliances and continental breakfast/coffee, and a pool and pool house. And, you're only a walk away from downtown, the beach, or the mansions. So, you have the best of both worlds - the privacy and comfort of the B&B and the activities, nightlife and crowds of downtown. We had a wonderful experience and would certainly go back again!
