RED'S CRAB SHACK

I deliberated on writing a review for this restaurant on the grounds of giving away a great secret. Red's Crab Shack has been open for about six months and set the bar high for customer service, great atmosphere and AWESOME food choices. We arrived around 2:00 PM on Valentine's Day and were immediately seated. We ordered the Lobster and Shrimp, Shrimp Tacos with Fries, Pecan Pie and Orange cake. The food was delicious and plentiful. I definitely recommend Red's Crab Shack for a great dining experience. Just make sure to save me a seat!

My husband and I visited Red’s Crab Shack during our one night stay in Wilmington. It was PHENOMENAL. The service was some of the best I’ve had. I got the RC 3 combo with the lobster tail and shrimp, it comes with your choice of seasoning, and also corn and potatoes. I went for the Old Bay and Butter for my seasoning, medium level heat and it was PERFECT! The owner came to our table to visit and let us know that his wife actually makes some of their hot sauces, so he brought out some for us to try and they were absolutely phenomenal! The food was cooked perfectly, the portion was great, and it had loads of flavor! We also had coconut shrimp and pot stickers (not pictured) as appetizers and they were hot and delicious. Wow! I’m lucky this spot opened up so close to me. It’s fantastic. Seafood Pho? Amazing. Lobster Tail and Butter Corn? Amazing. What’s more, they have a small stage and baby grand piano and guitars on hand. Amazing for me since I love music. Also, super friendly service. So, I’ve been here about five times now and the quality of food has been top notch, consistently … Amazing!

Food was decent. Customer service was good but doesn't tell you about the extra charges if you decide to split your meal. For example they'll offer to split your pho into 2 bowls but charge you at the end without letting you know beforehand. Soft shell crab very small also.

Service was excellent. Excellent hot crispy and excellent seasoning on fried food and Pho. Food came out quickly and steaming hot. Pho has excellent portions and was very satisfying. One of the best Pho I have had. 100 percent would come back to try more of the excellent food.
