Red Wagon BBQ Shack

Stopped by 5 minutes before closing with low expectations, but was impressed by how friendly and welcoming the man behind the counter was. He still had a full menu available (except the fried items) and made sure we were taken care of with a smile. We got the brisket dinner and the Billy Bob Bowl — both were delicious, with big portions and great flavor. The BBQ was tender, the sauces (there are four to choose from) were tasty, and the portions were generous. We were so happy to stumble upon this spot — definitely worth a visit!

Loved their sign that said "If you want fast, we don't serve fast, we serve quality." Friendly service and excellent brisket. We love to go thrifting at Molly's then stop here for lunch. They have a few outdoor picnic tables but they are in rough shape.

I'm assuming the guy in the trailer was Freddie. He was very nice and friendly. He was more than willing to go over the menu with us and show us the bowl a certain dish came in. He has a lot of good choices of food to choose from, but unfortunately, he was out of chicken, and that's what I really wanted. I ended up getting the brisket and coleslaw, and it was pretty great tasting 😋 I do think with the price you pay, you should get a little more, but I'm also a fatty and love to eat. Lol

Good barbeque for a reasonable price. I'd recommend doing takeout, their outdoor seating is limited and not in the greatest shape.

OH. MY. LORD. Let me tell yall! I'm a tough critic on bbq being from down south. I moved here to the island of Merritt, when it came to bbq i was never satisfied... BUT... This man right here is a gift from God. Stopped by today for 2 plates. Delicious in every way.
