Route 66 has become part of our weekly (sometimes more!) routine! We both work from home, and at least once a week, we buzz over to grab two of the Mocha Coffee protein shakes. At 150 calories, it beats - hands down - a 390 calorie S’bucks protein drink that’s 3/4 ice. The shakes are so thick you’d think you were getting a DQ blizzard, but all you’re getting is healthy! And, unlike some other protein shake shops we’ve tried, the shakes NEVER develop that separation that occurs when they aren’t well-blended making the bottom half of the cup to turn into thawed out ice with no flavor! The decor has a nice retro feel that’s true to its theme of Route 66. Wasn't impressed. My Acia bowl was more foamy than it was frozen... I think my wife ordered protein in my bowl so that might be why it was a little foamy if they blended it. Either way i ended up waiting a while to eat it, and it didn't really melt, which is odd, it held its shape and tasted mostly sweet and nothing like acia, it really wasnt cold either. Yes I know I said I waited a while to eat it, but acia should either melt or stay cold and hold its form, but it shouldn't hold its form, be barely cold, and be foamy, I think there was very little acia and mostly something else making up the base.

This is my favorite place to satisfy my sweet tooth! Everything I've had has been super delicious, fresh, made to order, and made with care. They have bilingual staff here, and the owners are just the best. This is a beautifully decorated and well-managed family business with your health in mind.
