Red Roof Inn Monteagle – I-24

Positive: "" Negative: This was an extremely dirty room! I have pictures of some of the dirty stuff and I have pictures of the rag I used to clean the room and floor. It’s disgusting! Definitely not worth the price I paid! There was no coffee in the lobby as mentioned.

Pulling up, you can see the place wasn’t in great condition. The room was horrible. The door wasn’t locking properly. Had to move the desk in front of the door for added safety. Floors were all scratched (probably from others moving the desk in front of the door for the same reason). Stains on the blankets and towels. The walls were gross. A bug flew on the tv while we were watching, and there was a roach in the toilet. Overall not happy with the stay and felt like this was a huge waste of money.

Convenient booking for a last minute stay, great price as well. I was greeted by Archie, the cutest little pup around and got my room key, check in super easy and the actual hotel manager was very kind and friendly. This is by the interstate so you will hear a little traffic but it really did not affect me in any way.

This motel used to be pretty nice, but it's needing a refresh... they used to have nice pillows, not anymore. They don't even have extra wash clothes or towels. The soap and shampoo are hanging in containers on the walls... plus no kleenex in the rooms at all, even if you ask... not nice like it used to be, in my opinion

I would give it a zero but you have to put at least 1 star to review. We called on the phone to confirm that they were pet friendly. They said yes . I said I have 4 small dogs . She said room would be 75 with the pets. When I arrived after a 2 hour drive she said she was charging me double the price because of my pets. She is a a liar . Bold faced liar. It’s difficult to travel with your fur babies these days but Red Roof in is just making it harder and charming extra to punish pet owners. I highly recommend you stay somewhere else. If she lies about pets she might scam your credit card too!
