Randevu Shawarma

I stopped by Randevu Shawarma on 16th Ave SW while craving something quick and fresh. First impression: clean truck, fast operation, but not much of a place to actually sit and eat. The chicken shawarma came with fresh veggies and a solid sauce, though I found myself wishing for a bit more garlic. The chicken tasted fresh and lightly crisped, but I was hoping for a deeper char. The beef didn't land as well - a few tough fatty pieces and the seasoning felt pretty mild, almost like the marinade didn't fully come through. Portion-wise, the wrap is long and slim, so there's a bit more lavash than I'd prefer, but overall it left me comfortably full without feeling heavy. Really tasty. Glad to have a shawarma this good near me. Just a little cold even fresh, maybe had a bit too much cold sauce or something, wish it was served hotter somehow.

This place is awesome. I love their regular chicken shawarma. It’s fresh, decently sized and tastes just good. The food truck itself is extremely clean. There is a nicely decorated area around. They pay attention to details like proper form, packaging, balance of ingredients. Considering all the above I can definitely recommend this place to anyone. I hope they are here to stay.

The beef shawarma was absolutely delicious — very flavorful, tender, and not dry at all. The meat was perfectly cooked and really soft, which made it even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the thoughtful packaging. The candies, dental floss and wet wipes included with the order were a nice touch and came in very handy. Such small details make the whole experience even better!

I contacted the owner through Instagram to order at the Lynnwood location. The owner is very sweet and responsive. My husband and I ordered the chicken bliss and beef randevu shawarmas. They were a shareable size each!! (I’d say more than a foot!) and we got complimentary drinks. The only downside is that the sauces aren’t very authentic, I with it was more hummus, tahini, and garlic taste profiles (the garlic one they provided seems to be more mayo and very subtle garlic) The beef one definitely tastes more like a burger, but nonetheless still very delicious.
