🍜 OX TAIL RAMEN SPICY – Recommended The oxtail clear broth with a touch of spice is light and flavorful. It’s not overly heavy, and you can adjust the seasoning to your preference. The noodles are chewy and have a great texture. 🌶 SPICY RAMEN – Not Recommended A bit too salty, and the portion of meat is very small. Overall, prices are on the higher side. If you go, I’d definitely stick with the OX TAIL RAMEN SPICY.

Always a line for this place. Only have about 20 seats? Queue moves pretty quickly. Just go sign the sheet and people usually sit and eat and move on. They are known for their oxtail ramen. Tried it, it is pretty good. I prefer the tonkotsu ramen sometimes when I want something heavier in taste. Gyoza is good as is the fried rice.

On an Oahu day trip I finally decided to try this place out after walking by it so many times. Went in around 4:20pm and there was no line but a few people inside. I was surprised how small the restaurant was, literally a hole in the wall kind of thing. The seating area is set up in a “U” formation and it sort of reminded me of typical but normal Japanese style setup I’ve seen on tv shows, movies or just travel videos. You’re far enough from the person next to you but still close enough to feel a bit huddled in. I ordered the Tokyo Ramen and it took less than 10 minutes to get to me from the kitchen. Ok Party of 4 here on Thursday on the week of the Honolulu marathon. We waited 40 minutes as we saw other people that came after us being seated before us. The bill did come up to the triple digits with the 4 of us. However, the food is Sensational for being Waikiki. The spicy vegetarian ramen was pretty incredible and the gyoza and fried rice which are both optional to add were def a great addition into it.if you like spicy, the spicy ramen is medium spice with a nice kick to it. Overall really great food with nice staff, just limited space and poor logistics
