Rachel's Bagels and Burritos (Lake City)

I couldn’t think of a more creative and delicious place to enjoy breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The variety in bagel sandwiches makes it a brand new experience every single time. The bagels alone are superb. But the combinations in sandwiches! Same with the burritos. And great cookies and the best brownies ever. (Plus, they participate in a variety of events for communities that need help.) I always feel satisfied when I walk out of Rachel’s.

This is a must stop place! Absolutely the sweetest staff, they went out of their way to help make an enjoyable experience and meal. The bagels are mouth-wateringly delicious, the perfect amount chewy and fresh. Very comfortable and warm atmosphere, smooth drip coffee, a new favorite place to stop in for brunch!

Rachel’s bagels has unique flavor and topping offerings but it’s outrageously priced. It’s $14-$16 for a bagel sandwich and some of those are vegan options. So basically $20 for a bagel sandwich?! Even New York bagels aren’t this expensive. Also NEVER order their everything bagel on the Joey Rainer or the Tad W. because the combination of the salted bread and salted toppings was so heavy that it was inedible.

A gem in the breakfast burrito game. I tried a vegetarian burrito and the burrito was packed with grilled vegetables with a nice sauté. The egg wax fluffy and generous, and the spice level was perfect. I am excited to try their other meat offerings in a burrito and I’m sure they don’t disappoint.

Rachel’s is a gift to Lake City!! Their bagels and burritos are unbelievable!! Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. The baby size is a full meal; the regular ones are 1.5-2 meals!! The coffee is excellent. Can’t say enough about Amy or this place! JUST GO!!!! Lots of parking in back. Edit: their cookies are delicious! Inside Brother Barrel
