Public House Kitchen & Cocktails

This place really impressed us! Food is excellent! Cocktails were great! Talking with the bartenders, they change the menu with the seasons, and they have some good wing specials. They made some custom gin cocktails for me that were very good and the ones off their menu have a combination of classic and new drinks that were all tasty. The maple Dijon pork ribeye was the best thing we had all night! Highly recommend

Wow this was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had around town. Food was very well done and fresh. A proper burger with fresh fries and even the sweet potato fries were excellent. Service was great as well staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations. 10/10 experience for anyone wanting a hearty meal

We live in Dawsonville so not too far away from the Public House. I must say I cannot believe it took us this long to visit. It was absolutely worth it. First of all, while we waited for our table, our kids were able to play Connect Four which helped pass the time so much! Once the table was available, we sat down in a very large and comfortable booth which was perfect for our family of 5. I was worried they might not have a kids menu, but they did! We ordered our appetizers and drinks which came in a timely manner. The chicken potstickers were really good. Our food came shortly after and did not disappoint. The kids portions were good and their food tasted real good. My husband ordered shrimp and grits to which he described them as the "best shrimp and grits" he ever tasted. I had the ste

2nd edit- ok our food was horrible but thankfully our service was good. The fried mushrooms were horrible tonight, luke warm at best, but the waitress did comp us since they were barely touched. Never had an issues with service but food was not as great this time. But bc of previous edit since they no longer sell the only thing I truly enjoyed there (ahi tuna tacos) i will no longer be visiting. Edited- what ever you do don't fall in love with a specialty. I only been a handful of times and tonight will be my last. I usually come for the fish tacos which are so amazing (see pics) and only do i come here for those tacos. Well unbeknownst to me they change their menu up (often apparently) so my rating for them changed to 3 stars bc they dont put it on the menu (changes often) and i am super

We enjoyed this new establishment just barely north of Dahlonega and just a few short minutes to downtown. The grits were amazing and the burger is indeed one of the best around. They were very busy on a Sunday at lunch, but the staff did great and the food was too notch. My wife and I will be back to enjoy more of the menu soon!
