Long Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast Inn

We loved our two night stay at the lodge. The lodge was so peaceful and heart warming. Having a fireplace in the room made the room even better. Oh, and the jetted tub with a glass of wine before bed was just what we needed. Don’s breakfast was delicious! It was nice to get to chat with Don and the other guest at breakfast. Don was extremely helpful with all our questions. We will be back!

My lady and I spent an unforgettable weekend at the lodge during the Dahlonega old fashioned Christmas celebration. The experience was unparalleled... Very quaint and quiet setting in a nicely appointed room with a private balcony and entrance. It was a very romantic and rejuvenating time. The common areas of the lodge are awesome as well and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Thanks!...

The Long Mountain Lodge is a hidden gem! If I could describe it in one word, that would be CHARMING. The entire lodge was soo homey we immediately felt comfortable. Don, the inn keeper, was very knowledgeable about the area and super helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, and the conversations with other guests were delightful. The location to the town and local wineries was perfect. I just can’t enough good things about this place. Will definitely be back when I want to come back to the area.

I have taken so long to leave a review because I knew I couldn't properly describe the beauty, comfort, hospitality and overall perfection of our stay here! My friends and I were starting a hike of the Ga section of the AT and our start was unexpectedly delayed due to rain and low temps. Don and the Lodge are hiker friendly and we were able to get a room last minute and Don made sure we got to where we needed to go for the several days we were there. Our room had a fireplace and a very large ensuite bathroom with a garden tub with jets and amenities that made our stay feel luxurious. The breakfasts were nothing short of amazing and were served in a lovely, cozy sunny dining room off a common area where we could gather for conversation and relax in comfortable chairs and couch in front o

I’ve stayed in dozens of B&Bs over the years; this place is among the very best. Apparently most of the rooms have a fireplace. We sure made the most of ours. We also greatly enjoyed the very comfortable furniture around the fireplace in the central room. We spent quite a bit of time there socializing with our friends. The view is downright stunning. The breakfast is consistently first class. And the proximity to Dahlonega is perfect. It’s obvious the host loves what he does, as he always goes above and beyond. My favorite moment was when I asked what to do with my used tea cup. He said “you just put it down anywhere, and it magically disappears.” We’ve already booked our return visit. I highly recommend this place.
