Chef Paco’s

This restaurant is new to town but the owner / chef isn’t new to cooking delicious meals. Paco was the mastermind behind the wonderful dishes served at Luna’s restaurant in Gainesville, Ga for 20 years. I ate there often and now I have the pleasure of enjoying the same quality food in Dahlonega. When you walk in the door you’ll enter a lovely lobby followed by a greeting by his kind smiling staff. Two of his daughter’s assist in the running of the restaurant. They are as committed as their father is. You can tell by their smiles that they love serving people by serving great food. There is not much signage outside so if you find this place you’ve found a gem hidden away in a peaceful mountain town. Whether you want a lunch burger ( tasty value ) or are stopping in for a fine dining dinner

Just enjoyed an incredible lunch at Chef Paco's!! This is a wonderful new addition within walking distance of the Dahlonega Square!! The Caesar salad was the best I've ever had (the house made dressing was phenomenal) and the fried chicken sandwich was to die for!! My server, Ellie, was so sweet and fantastic throughout the whole meal! She kept the table clean and the drinks filled and made sure i had everything i needed! I will definitely return very soon!

Chef Paco’s is truly a gem in Dahlonega! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. The service was outstanding — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into each plate. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or just a fantastic meal in a cozy setting, Chef Paco’s delivers. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting or living in the area!!!

So happy they are open! The prices are good and the food is amazing. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere is so nice, the potato hash is out of this world. Having grown up on potatoes with just about every meal, these are elevated to another level. I saw a menu of breakfast/brunch items and they are so good. Go eat there, you will not regret it! Ok, review #2. We went for dinner. The staff is attentive and on top of things, I never ran out of drink. I had the filet, 6oz., Cooked a perfect med rare with bernaise sauce a potato pancake and grilled asparagus. Excellent. My husband had a huge grilled pork chop that was also perfectly cooked and juicy, with mash sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. He loved it. Dessert was also amazing, creme brulee for me (I just can't say no to that)

We have never eaten calamari that was this tender before! I had the chicken caprese and my husband had the pork chops, all we could say was WOW!! Amazing flavors in everything, such creative cooking. Wonderful service with a low light soothing atmosphere. Thank you Chef Paco and your team for opening up in Dahlonega. We will be back for sure. 5 Stars all around!
