First time visiting after recommended by a local merchant. Of course I was hungry for seafood and wanted to support a small business so I asked around. Not a lot of places open because it wasn't "in season" and was late. Not a lot of signs so if the merchant hadn't recommended the place I wouldn't know it was there. Right before the bridge that takes you across to the island you turn onto a road down to the restaurant. The road is filled with potholes, you think it's a warzone but you're in the right place. My wife and me have visited this restaurant many of times when we visit Holden Beach. This year we decided to visit for a month this year and we’re excited to go back and we brought our family based on our previous visits and great experiences. However, this time we stepped in the door and were confronted by a young red head that was very rude from the time we stepped in the door till the time we left. As soon as we walked in the door she stated that we had to order food in order to get a table, we didn’t even have a second to look over the menu that is plastered above the busy counter as you walk in. We ate dinner on a Monday evening. It was our first time and they were helpful with process. You order at counter and then sit. Get your own drinks and pay on way out. It wasn’t crowded and they had ramp to restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. We had 8 in our party and able to sit together. We had some pineapple bar drinks too that were perfect. Several tried the special which was shrimp and crab cake. I tried shrimp burger and cucumber salad. Will definitely go back.

Great shrimp burgers, conche fritters, and cucumber salad. They even have lots of non seafood options for the kids. Great atmosphere and wonderful service.

Some of the best casual seafood around! The price is affordable and highly worth it. I rather come here than other places because they are efficient cheap and delicious. Cucumber salad is refreshing. Shrimp burgers and grouper sandwiches are a hit! Loved the conch fritters and side sauce.
