Customer Reviews
I went in to this location this morning at around 8am and the coffee I received was delightful, the girl who made it even added less ice like i requested. However in my sandwich there were 2 long strands of redish colored hair, because of this I will not be returning.
Very disheartening. I was told by a friend that Providence Bagel had freshly made and baked gluten free bagels daily - I was beyond excited, because normally I have to stock up when I go to NYC. I ordered online ahead of time, and ordered 6 of them to pick up. They were priced “per piece” and were over $1 more expensive than their non-gf counterparts. I pick up my order, and am given a package of previously frozen bagels that I could have purchased from the grocery store for $5. Not freshly baked. Not even baked in this state - shipped from CA. Why am I paying for store-bought bagels by the piece? It really rubbed me the wrong way and I’m sorry to say I will not be back.
First instance: original review Lady who worked (larger) on Wednesday, was kind. She was really sweet NEXT INSTANCE: was fine bagel had too little cream cheese for3$. Disappointed-1 star NEXT INSTANCE: went this week and there was a man working who was rude and unkind to the customers. I couldn’t even ask for a bagel without an attitude. Hoping this can be improved for my next monthly visit(treat) -2 star. Oh and to add- This restaurant was selected for Revise Restaurant Week. You may see an influx’ in customer reviews.. —-> Restaurant 3/56 Dissatisfied overall. Not very clean either
Stale bagels at 8am on a Saturday are not a good sign. Their coffee has always been bad, but at least the bagels were good! Not sure what changed, but it's disappointing. Used to be worth the high price, not anymore!
Feeling in need of a different breakfast other than my usual oatmeal I stopped into Providence Bagel. What we have here is not just bagels but bagels on steroids with delicious additions. I chose “The Friar” that has a perfect balance of chewiness and softness, like a cloud with a backbone. It's a huge bagel with the holy trinity of bacon, lettuce and tomato that adds a burst of flavor and a gospel written in sesame seeds. "The Friar" Bagel isn't just a breakfast option; it's a revelation—a testament to the transformative power of carbohydrates and the divine artistry of the bagel-maker. So go ahead, take a bite, and let the culinary enlightenment wash over you. Your taste buds will thank you, and so will your sense of humor. Amen to that!
