Portofino: A Birthday Celebration to Remember We went out with the family to celebrate my brother-in-law’s birthday, and Portofino absolutely delivered. We adore this place — the service is top-notch, and the waitresses are incredibly kind and attentive. The food? Incredible. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying, and the pizza deserves a special shoutout — it was outstanding. The cozy, inviting atmosphere made the whole evening feel extra special. If you’re looking for a place with great food, warm service, and a welcoming vibe, I highly recommend Portofino.

We heard such good things about Portofino, so we decided to check it out for ourselves! The food lived up to our expectations - everything was incredible! The meat was cooked perfectly and the lemon sauce on the chicken francaise was flavorful. Every dish was perfect. We sat in the bar because we visited in the early afternoon. The staff was friendly. I’ll definitely be keeping this spot in mind when I’m in the Bethel area for fantastic Italian food!

We made the mistake of ordering for delivery. After waiting beyond the time limit we looked out to see if anyone was around. The delivery driver dropped the food off on the front porch in 20 degree weather. No knock no notifications just cold pizza and appetizer. I have no idea if the food was good but the delivery was absolutely horrible

Ordered DoorDash and arrived to a pretty packed bar. Mentioned I had an order and the bartender motioned to me to walk to the back as he walked back there as well. DoorDash app on my phone froze so I had to reboot my phone so I could show my order. Took no longer than 90 seconds to restart my phone and show the order, but the bartender became incredibly impatient raising his voice at me and huffing & puffing. Incredibly unprofessional. Food was pretty good, but won't be going back. Completely rude...guy was an absolute jerk.
