Porter Creek Hardwood Grill

Porter Creek is one of those suburban gems that always delivers. The patio is fantastic, and booking the waterfall table gives you the best seat in the house. It feels relaxed, beautiful, and perfect for a slow dinner outside. The cocktails are amazing and the happy hour is one of the best in the area. My favorite cocktail is the blueberry basil, so delicious and consistent. Service is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable, which adds so much to the experience. The Italian sausage and apricot flatbread is one of my favorites. Every flatbread on the menu is delicious, but that one is a standout. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect winter coziness. The food felt very medium, the fries especially were just okay. I did appreciate the vast options of N/A beverages. They had a whole page of mocktails and N/A beer and wine. Overall a decent stop in the suburbs, I’d be curious to try more from their menu.

Food & Beverages were delicious! We were visiting w/ a friend from Tennessee, so I completely forgot to capture pics of our food, but it was very good. I did capture the decadent desserts, yum! If you are in Burnsville, MN,definitely worth eating. BTW, the only reason I gave service 3 Stars was due to our wait person, Stephanie wearing too many hats, waiting tables, bartending, etc. She appeared overwhelmed with too much to do to provide great sevice, but pleasant. Good thing it wasn't busy.

Our waitress Lisa was very attentive and friendly. We got the roasted chicken dinner, Parmesan cream fettuccine with shrimp, cheeseburger and fries and the banana 🍌 icecream and chocolate cake dessert. Everything was delicious!

First time here and what a great spot. Cozy atmosphere and great service. Got a seasonal item on the menu (rack of lamb) and was impressed. Perfectly cooked and a great choice of roasted veggies. Pearl onion with mushrooms is such a great flavor combo! I will be gladly returning for meals in the future!
