Donut Star

Donut star never misses. I live within walking distance of the Burnsville location which is dangerous but so amazing. THE CINNAMON ROLLS! I just tried for the first time and was actually blown away. Cinnamon roll hack - take off the frosting and microwave for 15 seconds then put frosting back on - sooo good! Staff is always super friendly too! Please donut star keep the ratio of frosting pictured here its perfect!

Great experience! The donuts were fresh and delicious, and the coffee was excellent. Friendly service too. I’ll definitely be back.

Got a variety of donuts and all of them were delicious. Serve local coffee and my nitro cold brew was great. Atmosphere is cute, family friendly and the service was fabulous! Such a cute local spot! Love the kid seats with coloring supplies!

My husband and I go here a few times a year to treat ourselves - staff is always friendly and the donuts are great! Today I went in with my 9 week old baby in his car seat to pick up an online order. I made a comment about wanting to also get their seasonal donuts but quickly remembered I had left my wallet in car. Didn't want to lug babe back to the car yo get it and said "oh wait, never mind, forgot my wallet." They ended up giving me the two seasonal donuts for free, which was so kind! I will definitely be leaving a nice tip on my next visit!

We used to love Donut Star. Got a dozen today and have to say they were not great. The maple frosting tasted fake, the chocolate frosting didn't have any depth, it was just sweet. The cream in the Boston cream donut was gritty and the raised donuts were so dry. The cake donuts still tasted good. Sorry to say, Donut Star was better before.
