I really enjoy this poke spot. The atmosphere looks out onto marker street and it’s fun to people watch. I often see families and locals grabbing poke and then donuts next door. What stands out to me is the quality of the fish. The preparation is not too salty and the poke is more mild in flavor profiles which I like. There is a nice balance of flavors with the crab salad and the spicy option isn’t overly spicy. The amount of fresh veggies offered is great and this is by far, a more healthier poke spot in Seattle.
Amazing Poke Bowl. Got the large and it was enough for 2 people. The service was quick and friendly. The fish was fresh and loved the spicy tuna and the crab salad. 12/10 recommend.
Decently priced Poke take out place with limited seating. The fish tasted fresh and well portioned and the service was polite. They had Hawaiian Sun juices available which are my favorite, so that was a plus. I ordered two bowls: Salmon and Shrimp; Salmon and Scallops. The salmon was good, shrimp and scallops were ok. It's worth trying, but I don't think it's a spot I will frequently visit.
i come to ballard like once a month or so to get my nails done… and because i usually get them done around noon, i’m usually hungry after. i was randomly craving poke one of those times and i am a Certified Hater of just poké due to its price and, frankly, mediocrity. i did a search to see if there was anything else around and this place came up. i walked in and was greeted by a super cool guy (i did not get his name but he has long hair and snakebites). i told him it was my first time in and he helped me put my bowl together. like i said he was super cool and i was the only person inside so we were just yapping which was fun. the inside of the place isn’t a special atmospheric adventure but it has some big windows so there’s lots of natural light. overall, this place was pretty good.
Clean, friendly & attentive staff, central location, super fast if there isn’t a line, very fresh ingredients. I thought it was a great price. If you’re concerned with price check online for the amount on the menu. I really enjoyed my bowl and it filled me up really quickly.
