Overall this was much better than the typical Mexican restaurant. The service was prompt and efficient. The menu had the typical large variety of options. The food was quite tasty and served quickly. The pricing was very reasonable. The premises was clean and well kept

food is great. waitress was great. paying bill, not great. deceptive. why? because they do not have a sign stating they charge a credit card fee anywhere near the register and they refuse to do anything about it. when i used a credit card to pay at register, they presented to me a receipt only for the total and not itemization. As the bill looked higher than i expected, i asked if they charged me a credit card fee and she told me yes. i then asked to have the card credited back and i would then pay cash. She refused. Told me she couldn't do that. Told me that the sign is on the door. I told her the nc law states sign must be also at the point of sale which it is not. Stopped in here for a late lunch with my teen and toddler. We were greeted on entry and quickly seated. The waitress came promptly and she was very nice. The menu is a bit extensive, one will need a few minutes to decide as they have a wide variety to choose from. The complimentary chips were fresh, the salsa I expected more. If it was prepared fresh would have been so much better. The white bean dip was just OK. The food was not hot, the portion was decent but the beans tou could count. When I see rice and beans that is exactly what I expect. The tamales were not very good at all. Probably just different from what we have previously ate at other places. On a Sunday afternoon, me and a colleague of mine were working in the area and decided to grab some food as soon as we walked in everything was vibrant and everyone seem to be friendly, The manager was our waiter, and he asked us what we wanted to eat, I asked him for Quesobirras , he asked me if I spoke Spanish and I said a little I know enough to order food anyway, so he again asked me what I wanted to eat and I told him the same thing three times. he told me he didn’t understand what I was saying, and begin to attack me in Spanish. He began talking so fast I could not keep up with him and every time I will try to say something he would talk over me. This place was very good! The portions of food was on point as well. Staff are really nice and they keep your drinks refilled which is a plus for me. I recommend this place for Mexican food if you're in the area.
