Pizza Man

It was our 1st time here. We placed an online order for pickup. It was ready when I arrived and it was great pizza once we were home.

Was reading a review from a month ago from Julie orth. On her review that she said she was out doordashing with her boyfriend. Why is she making a negative review? My question is is why didn't her boyfriend make that bad review? What is wrong with them wanting for you to have an insulated bag when you're taking a pizza out that they made? That stops people from complaining and trying to get their money back because your boyfriend did not have an insulated bag That is the most ridiculous complaint I've ever heard of . Your job is to bring the bag their job is to make the pizza it's not that hard to understand. She wasn't doing business or buying Pizza. It was her boyfriend that was doing the business. So I’m doordashing with my boyfriend. He goes in to pick up the pizza. The lady working asked if he had a bag, an insulated one. He doesn’t, so she told him he can’t have the food. He went on to tell her that the customers food is only 5 mins away and the car is warm. She said I don’t care. My boyfriend calls the customer to see if they were fine with no bag and they said that it’s completely fine and they’re only a couple minutes away. He tells her and she says “fine but if they have cold food it’s not our fault” also saying “it’s gonna be below zero soon you need an insulated bag”, like it’s not a walk to a WARM CAR and then set on the customers front porch. Mind you she had an attitude THE WHOLE TIME. NOT OKAY. I understand the concern of the food getting cold, but she didn’t have to ha

It opened at 11. I got there at 11:20am. 4 pizzas were out, hardly touched. Dry looking. Tasteless! Salad bar had good looking food and variety of dressings. Pasta bar had a good variety but what I sampled, was not good. Tatortot hotdish was mushy, and flavorless. Meatballs were only ok, Mac and bacon cheese was ok. They had sauce and noodles, which I did not taste. Service was good, pleasant waitress. Good wine pour tho!

Unfortunately, we keep trying and they keep missing. I loved pizza man in Columbia Heights so I keep hoping Anoka will mirror that. I ordered 2 pizzas tonight, for about 45 bucks, what I received were two VERY overcooked and hardly warm pizzas without extra cheese and one not cut into squares. Photos actually lighten the pizza up and make it look better. I’m hoping to be issued a credit for one more chance to see if they can offer quality.
