Customer Reviews
Haven't been to the library, but we absolutely LOVE the park! Very nature inspired and off the beaten path. Pros: Parking lot is right next to the park No busy roads for kids to run into A lot to do for how simple it is No swings Cons: Absolutely no shade - I will not go there if it's hot outside No swings
I love all libraries, but this is perhaps my favorite. It’s not too big (meaning: overwhelming) or too small. It is modern and open and, best of all, the staff are friendly and so helpful! You can rent board games, video games, kitchen gadgets, and of course books. I get a lot of ebooks, but I love going to this library in person to get actual books.
Nice Anoka County Library, currently open abbreviated hours and practicing Covid-aware policies. Desks/chairs and workspaces are now spread out. Wearing masks and social distancing is enforced.
I have been going here since 2007. My 3 girls "grew up" in this library. They have moved states away, but we continue to come here. The staff is always knowledgeable and not in a rush. (Only one time they couldn't answer a question) .
I used mnlink for a book transfer and to pick up some books. Worked out slick, while pickup instructions weren't very clear, the "on hold" books were right when you walk in, so I was able to figure it out fairly quickly. Stopped and asked the librarians in the children's book area since questions and they were really friendly and helpful. Hoping to make more trips to the library soon. Update: Went to toddler time with my 2.5 year old. There were props and activities set up. The person running the group got the kids moving and singing. Afterwards, they brought out toys and kids stuck around to play in the kids section of the library.
