Phat Daddy's

This place is such a great Gem to find. Today my son and I stopped in for lunch on our way home from spending the week for Thanksgiving in Wilmington Delaware and we were starving so we decided since 95 was ridiculous to take 301 home and decided we were going to stop in Chestertown since we never have before and stretch our legs and get some food. My son loves a good BBQ so we decided yo give it a try and OMG as soon as walked in we noticed how nicely decorated it was the owner greeted us with a smile and said we could sit anywhere. The Sweetest waitress greeted us with a warm smile and my son got the House burger which he devoured and I went with the fish and chips (Cod) which was piping hot and the best I've ever had. Loved the fries as well. Will definitely come back and try the whitin

19JUNE2025 Stupendous first time visit. Ms. Doris was super friendly and welcoming. I met the owner of PDB and he was super kind. This is such a gem and serves up some delicious, fresh, and hot food. The prices are reasonable for the food that you enjoy. Absolutely fabulous, fantastic, and memorable day. Stop and grab a big bit to eat. You will be so glad you did. Thank Ms. Doris! You were wonderful.

Dined in, super friendly and great customer service! The waitress checked in very frequent and had great conversation. Food was excellent. I need to come back to try the brisket! It must be good since it was sold out when I got there.

Fabulous! Fantastic! This place is a wonderful adventure into the realm of home-cooking. Breakfast was unbelievably delicious and filling. The French Toast sandwich was an epic mixture of tastes and delights. Their scrapple was made to Lancaster standards, and service was quick and friendly. It's worth the pop in.

Me shipmate and I shared the sampler platter, ate a lot, and still had enough for the next day's lunch. Everything was delicious! The ribs were tender and flavorful with plenty of meat, the sausage had excellent flavor, the pulled pork was exceptionally perfect, as was the chicken. The brisket was tender and tasty. The sides of coleslaw, mac and cheese, and cornbread were great, too. We should have got more hush puppies, though. They are 👍👍 Situated across from a Family Dollar, Phat Daddy's is worth the effort to find. Casual atmosphere with plenty of napkins and paper towels for cleaning up your hands after you tile down on amazing BBQ.
