White Swan Tavern

I can not say enough good things about the White Swan Tavern. My wife and I spent a couple of nights there before Christmas. |The Tavern is very nice, colonial and was decorated for Christmas. The breakfasts were outstanding. The staff could not have been any more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are beautifully kept and in immaculate condition. Plus, you can not beat the location and the fact that they have parking in back of the Tavern.|I would recommend this location to anyone who might be going to Chestertown or near by.

We loved our stay at the White Swan Tavern! The inn is cozy and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was amazing! We would definitely love to come back. We felt very welcome and at home! Thank you!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the White Swan Tavern in Chestertown MD. Beth and her staff were wonderful hosts, and our room, the first floor John Lovegrove Kitchen, was absolutely charming and comfortable. All amenities were modern, while evoking pre-revolutionary styles and ambiance. We were there during the National Music Festival and had the opportunity to hear musicians practice on the front porch and inside room as well. Highly recommend this historic and strategically located b&b, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and museums.

We spent four wonderful nights At the end of May this year in this impossible to over, praise this historic restoration. Everything about it was above expectations. The staff could not have been more helpful., The breakfast delicious and varied. Location could not have been better for either walking through beautiful Chestertown or driving down to rock hall. Do not miss dinner at the imperial Hotel.

Chestertown is peaceful and charming. A worthwhile visit in and of itself. The White Swan moreso. Our room (Lovegrove Kitchen), the staff (Beth, Emily, Katherine and Jen) didn't miss on a single item. Breakfast was uniformly perfect (butter cakes, homemade granola parfait, etc etc). We've done hundreds of B&B's (gives away our age) this one is right up there with the best. Freezing cold so we didn't walk much, but we did get to Watershed Alley (great) and the Retriever (almost as great) for eats.|We'll be back in the spring for certain.|(Apologies for all the parenthesis - it been that kind of morning)
