Gem alert 🚨 Found this mom and pops Italian deli And it was great. I felt like my nonna was making me a sandwich. It was nice. So the sandwich was custom-made. They do have suggestions on their menu. If you can make up your mind. Order 1 was a turkey ,provolone with lettuce, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil and mayo Order 2 was chicken, cutlet, fresh mozzarella, sun-dried, tomatoes, mayo, salt, pepper, oregano, vinegar , olive oil and prosciutto And man it was nice They do have other foods so will be back. So if in the area check it out PS: it’s CASH ONLY !!

Stopped into this local deli while in town for the holidays, was helped by a woman named Lori. I asked her what her specialty was so she made me a “Lori Special” It was very unique and also tasty! It was chicken cutlet, marinara sauce, gummy bears, and crushed up chocolate chip cookies on a long roll with salt and pepper. I was going to get a regular italian sandwich but I figured id give it a shot. Not bad Lori!! Thanks again Pete’s Deli! I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area, say Hi to Lori!!

Highly recommended by a friend about a month ago, I’ve been back there a few times and every sandwich I have ordered was really delicious. The conscientious, hard working women making the orders and VERY pleasant and try to accommodate you on fulfilling your order. I would give Pete’s 6 star’s.

My first ever authentic Italian sub and it was SO GOOD 😩 came here alll the way from Virginia Beach and i cant wait to go back. The Staff was amazing! ( i had them twice within 4 days )😂

GREAT little find in the heart of Nutley! The place reminded me of scene out of the movie Moonstruck- Italian old school vibe! The staff were super sweet and my sandwich was delicious ♥️!
