Peterson's Ice Cream Depot

I'm shocked by how bad this place was considering the great google reviews! Everything was grossly overpriced. They charge $1.50 per topping, and 2 scoops of ice cream in a bowl is $10! Also, I don't believe their claim of the ice cream being home-made. I purchased the key lime flavor, and it tasted and looked incredibly artificial. They advertised on their sign that the ice cream contained graham cracker crust chunks. I received about 3 crumbs of crust in the entire 2 scoops (pictures attached). This place definitely seems like a tourist trap.

A fun treat always. We like to bring guests out here or celebrate the end of the school year. The flavors options change so there is always something new to try. The milkshakes are great. The portion sizes tend to be on the larger side. It’s a cute little ice cream shop and the kids get a kick out of the little train at the front. Bonus points for a bathroom!

We have had friends declare this the best ice cream in America. So we decided to head to Petersons ourselves. It's a very cute and busy outlet. The ice cream is tasty and also very expensive. They have a limited menu and have seasonal specials too.

Chocolate drama and Abracadabra....rich chocolate and double ( maybe triple) ginger. Superb flavor.....distinct, bold, creamy. For a "corner" of a town this was a great stop. Parking can be found at the surrounding places.

Having Peterson’s in the neighborhood is so special. It’s so cute and is such a charming place to take visitors + the ice cream is YUM!!! We love that the Peterson’s live right next to it and supporting a family owned business! Plus, all the kids who work there seem to go to school in the district. Best feeling to support local when the local spot is the best :)
