Clifton Cafe

Two visits - neither impressed me. Perhaps having owned a restaurant myself back in day i notice more than some. All sit down restaurants especially if you are supposed to be higher character than a TGIF should have guests greeted within 60 seconds of sitting to greet them and acknowledge they sat and give them water. Busser should be doing this is waiter is busy. Neither visit did this occur. Second visit waiter was better once waitress started serving us Food was nothing to write home about. French toast first visit was eh from memory. My friend praises the crepes. I had a taste of them. Was good but not OMG amazing. Got chicken salad croissant sandwich second visit. Hidden gem with excellent crepes, lattes, ambiance, and friendly staff!! We got their special latte of the month which was an Apple fritter with Apple, caramel, cinnamon, and oat milk. It was DELICIOUS—so much so that after we went for a walk in the quaint historic town, we came back to order more coffee to go for the drive home! We also got a yummy strawberry crepe with maple syrup, cinnamon, and whipped cream, and avocado toast with bacon and tomatoes. Wish we lived closer—we’ll definitely be returning if we’re in this area again. And our dog Zulu LOVED the pup cup the awesome staff gave us!! 10/10 worth the stop

Eddie was an amazing server throughout our meal! He was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the entire dining experience very comfortable. The food was delicious, well prepared, and came out at a great pace.

Came here today for brunch on the patio and loved my experience! The service was incredible, our server was attentive and so sweet. The entire menu looked delicious and I ended up getting an iced latte with lavender added to it and the Alli’s Berries and Blitz Crepe. Both were phenomenal. I loved the little details to the restaurant like the plants and flowers decorating the patio and the front of the cafe. In addition to the great service, delicious food, and cute aesthetics, they are dog friendly! Can’t wait to come back and try more menu items

This place is so cute & has such a nice vibe. I love the various seating options, either outside or inside. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. Really enjoyed the Evan crepe (pesto aioli, feta, spinach, tomato, chicken) - nice creamy balance. Vanilla latte was great. Cobb salad was delicious with perfectly cooked bacon bits. The fruit cup was served warm on a hot day which wasn’t something I loved but the fruit itself was fresh. I will definitely be back to try the menu in the fall, definitely worth the trip out. You get to see train go by & can walk around the small historic part of Clifton.
