Customer Reviews
We stopped in for lunch at Pepper's Seafood Co., located at 243 Main St, Ogunquit, ME 03907, on Sunday, November 30, 2025. It was a chilly day, and we were immediately pleased to enter such a warm and inviting restaurant. The menu offered a variety of choices, so we could all try different things. I had the burger of the month, and my son-in-law had a lobster roll. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The service was excellent, relaxed, totally competent, and friendly. We highly recommend Pepper's Seafood.
They had Gluten free menu, with a great deal of options. I had the clam chowder, which was ok. With baked haddock, came with mashed potatoes and carrots and turnips. The meal was good but my favorite part was the veggies. My husband had fried clams, he said they were awesome!
We were looking for a good sit down place to have east coast lobster. Pepper’s seafood came up first, for best place to eat lobster. It was not wrong! The 1-1/4 lobster dinner was excellent. It presented well, and tasted great! The owner was very nice! And they are open year around. I would definitely recommend.
Food was good, drinks were ok. We had the lobster rolls and whole belly clams. The rolls had a good amount of lobster and the clams were delicious and the portion was big! The calamari was tender but the marinara was cold and there was more batter than calamari. Would probably pass on them. Prices for the food were probably a tad bit high, especially for the off season, but it was tolerable. The drink prices seemed really high. Sorry but I’m not paying $10+ for draft beer. Think it was $8 for a Guinness can. I get paying this in the dead of summer and peak season, but it is crazy in February. This time of year there are no issues getting a table. Would we go back? I dunno, so many options in the area, but wouldnt be mad if we did.
Absolutely delicious! We tried the lobster rolls, the fried haddock sandwich, and several appetizers — everything was super fresh and full of flavor. Great quality, friendly service, and a lovely overall experience. Highly recommended!
