Dragonfly Guest House

The Dragonfly Guest House is an incredible bed and breakfast. My wife and I stayed here for the first time in 2017 for our honeymoon have again in 2022 and 2025. The hosts (Charles and David) are amazing. They are attentive and always willing to chat and offer advice for fun activities to do. Breakfast is delicious with many options from homemade hot entrees to fresh fruit. Fresh baked cookies are available every day in the afternoon. The house is clean and cozy and the rooms feel comfortable and private. The Dragonfly Guest House is located within walking distance of everything you need and want to do in Ogunquit. The Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, the town square, and the beach are all easily walkable. This is definitely an adult retreat in the best ways. We will always stay here and could

We have been to the Dragonfly Inn 6 times, and always look forward to it. Charles and David are amazing, attentive hosts. "Our room" (Blue Sky) is tastefully decorated and well-equipped, including a mini-fridge and private balcony. The location is perfect - an easy walk to Perkins Cove, the beautiful beach, Marginal Way, and Downtown Ogunquit. Breakfasts are healthy and delicious, with a good amount of choice to reflect your personal preferences. We'll be back!

We echo all the compliments in previous reviews...a beautiful, relaxing, inviting B&B, with wonderful breakfasts, a bed we should have nicknamed the terminator because it was too comfortable to leave, and delightful, considerate, warm hosts. |We have stayed in Ogunquit for decades and The Dragonfly is a quiet retreat, well-situated for a quick walk to town or down to Perkins Cove. We can't say enough about our hosts. The perfect balance of warm engagement and privacy. The bath products were lovely and thoughtful, as were the afternoon treats of homemade cookies. |Also, they were very helpful with our travel plans and booking changes. Do stay if you get a chance!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Charles and David keep an immaculately clean and well decorated home for their guests. The common guest space has a homey vibe, oversized leather chairs, dark cherry hardwood floors, built-in bookshelves, a large dining room table for eating breakfast, a wonderful coffee/tea station, a beautiful outdoor deck with furniture for eating breakfast or hanging out. The deck leads to the backyard where Charles and David have a beautifully landscaped grounds and at night there are million twinkle lights fluttering like lightening bugs in the trees! There are many subtle dragonfly decorations adorning various areas of the home.|HOSTS: David and Charles are gracious, friendly, thoughtful hosts. We recently spent 4 days and nights at the Dragonfly Inn while visiting the Maine resort town of Ogunquit. The thing is that if you’re planning a stay in the Ogunquit area you cannot find any better accommodations than we did with hosts Charles & David! Not only is the inn situated in a perfect location; halfway between the center of town and Perkins Cove but the house and property are gorgeous! From the delicious homemade breakfasts to the assistance offered with daily excursions and outings we enjoyed a stress free stay. Regarding our accommodations; Charles & David have created an atmosphere of homey comfort and quiet exclusivity that we cherish when traveling.
