Pelican Pub

Great location to watch the sunset. The bartenders are friendly and attentive. It's a local bar that welcomes visitors. They don't serve food but you can order from Dockside downstairs and they'll bring it up. It's my first stop when I get on the Island. You can sit inside or outside. LOVE their Bushwackers !

I'll be honest, I thought this place was going to be a lot more interesting, but unfortunately I was met with ignorance and rejection right up front. I had to show the lady with glasses with long grey hair two different ID's before she served me. Drinks are kinda ridiculous ($11 a drink)- attitude from the staff was terrible - and the room was just dead... (on a Saturday at 7pm) - 5 out of 10 at best... Just straight up mid lol

Awesome little pub on DI! This place is on the water and it’s got beautiful views. The vibe is laid back and easy. Drinks were well made and good priced. Lots of tv’s so it was fun to watch football while we were there. Didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the food. There were some locals that came in while we were there and you could tell it was a great pub for locals to gather and enjoy each other. We love the pelican pub, if you’re looking for a couple of drinks with a good view and fun time, don’t skip out on the pub!

A great friendly place to stop at, have a few beers with some of the locals and fellow travelers. Great views of the bay and service from Erin. It is upstairs but they do have an ADA elevator. We did not go to the restaurant below Dockside. We were too early in the day.

This is a great little place to stop by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wall dedicated to showcase local artists which was fun to look at. The view is nice. The food definitely hit the spot, especially the sweet tea. It is neat that you can go up to the pub, order a drink, and bring it down to have with your food. I had the burger with fries. My daughter had the chicken tender basket, and husband had the fish tacos. Everyone enjoyed the food. No complaints. We will definitely come back when we go to Dauphin Island.
