Islanders Restaurant & Bar

Great little tree house bar and restaurant on Dauphin island. Waitstaff was incredibly friendly and professional. Food was fabulous. Burgers nice and thick and cooked perfect. Fresh fish baskets were delicious. Breading on fish and shrimp was perfect. Peanut butter pie was to die for. Beer was ice cold. All in a neat tree house, island vibe setting. Mobility impaired? No worries elevator on site. Mixed crowd of locals and tourists. Lunch and dinner menu's. Get there early, fills up fast!

Had a very enjoyable time at Islanders today. Had some baked oysters, crab dip and a couple of local brews. Cool place, very nice people. I would recommend for sure!

Enjoyed the scallops and tuna dip, as well as the relaxed lunchtime atmosphere. Great service, was even offered a water to go (but unfortunately I left it there because it tasted funny). So, I returned for dinner a few days later. The portion size for the pasta was huge. Beware the “upsell” with the “Did you want the bread with that?” because the bread doesn’t actually come with it, it’s an extra charge. That kind of thing just makes a customer feel less trusting.

Lyn and I few it on 4A9 for some seafood since were land stricken in Wetumpka (08A). Cool guy for Massachusetts (four year southpat) gave us a golf cart ride to Islanders. Service fast, great and fun. We told her our flyin story and time limits, everything was cued up! Your food is up, Harley will drive u back to the airport. I'll go ahead and clear your check so you won't be delayed if it gets busy. Wow. Seafood bisque as good or better than Newport! Yes, Rhode Island. Kids order of 8 shrimp with side...I took 3 shrimp home, delicious. Lyn wasn't hungry, so she ate all the hushpuppys. I presume with the rapidity with which they disappeared, they were exceptional. Lots of places to get good food, but great personal service...Islanders. thanks for the ride back Harley from Texas :-)

This place won me over. Just the fact that they have a service elevator for everyone is impressive 👌🏻. They accept your pet, which is the most important thing to me. They treated me really well, and so did my dog. The waitress was super cool. They bring your pet water with ice. Spectacular service. The drinks and food are delicious. Come here!!! Don't go to El Pirata!!!
