Pearl of the Caribbean — 10/10, no notes 🇭🇹✨ You know how Caribbean spots can be a gamble—long waits, missing items, or vibes that feel… chaotic? Not here. Pearl of the Caribbean understood the assignment. First of all, the place was super clean (already a win). The passion fruit juice? Absolutely elite—bright, fresh, and dangerously good. Food is made to order, so yes, there’s a wait—but trust me, it’s worth it. I ordered the griot fritay with boulet (meatballs) and baby… the seasoning was on point, perfectly salted, crispy where it should be, tender where it matters. The accra? Marinated to perfection—every bite hit. I even spotted a platter of djon djon rice that was actually black—you can tell they’re using real djon djon, not that liquid shortcut nonsense. Omg, I went there I asked for griot to be fried soft . Got home to realize that the griot was hard almost broke My teeth went back Let them know. They took it back and still put the same griot in a smaller container. I told her that it still was hard. That’s when they took the time out to refry some fresh ones I guess I bought another plate of beef legume for my friend .. to where the beef was so hard to chew he spit it out . We were very upset due to the money spent over $60 for food that was awful…like why be overly priced for food that’s not worth it . At one point the food used to be fresh and good now I guess they’re getting lazy and just don’t care about the food quality.

One of the cashiers was nice. So props to her she was really sweet. I ordered fried turkey they gave me a plate full of fat so I told them I only have fat and showed it to them. They remade it. The red beans and rice had this burnt taste and a funny color. So I asked if I could just get plantains instead, the cook came out and was like nope give her money back. I’m like that’s not what I wanted I just wanted plantains, she was like girl please im just gonna give your money back. I left and said yall never have to worry about my business here again. Disgusting service!!!!! Like never in my life.

The Haitian Spaghetti was WHITE no flavor , NO HOT DOGS, when i called the store they were mad at me like saying its my fault ?? like i didnt pay FULL PRICE the food came nothing like the picture , its ALWAYS an issue with this place its either they charged my card wrong, or the order is completly messedup up & its NEVER NO ACCOUNTABILITY. its always the customers fault not the staff . what kind of business is that.

First time here. Food was delicious. Next time we are in town, we will be back.
