Papi’s Mex Grill & Bar

Our first visit to Papi's Mex Grill and Bar was very nice. The restaurant, which is located in a strip mall in Prospect, has a very clean and upbeat atmosphere (authentic music playing, TVs, friendly staff, and spacious booths for seating) as a backdrop for a delicious beef grand burrito, beef chimichanga, and lime margaritas!

Papi’s is so yummy and the atmosphere is very chill. I typically get the taco salad with chicken and I always leave with leftovers. If you live in prospect and want to avoid the crowd at Gustavo’s, Papi’s is perfect to get your Mexican fix. They also have amazing chips with dips. The picture is my taco salad that I received tonight.

Watch your credit card statement after eating here! They like to give themselves 63% tips without you noticing! ------ Thank you to the owner for replying. I'm not too concerned about the money. I'll just be sure to only use cash there in the future. The same mistake was made on both 11/1 (dine in) and 12/9 (carry out).

We can't say enough good about the food, service, & beautiful decor. However, as much as we would like to eat in, we can't because the music is unbearably loud.

I used to enjoy other types of Mexican restaurants and really liked the previous restaurant that was where Papi's is now, but my goodness, their menu is great with new additions and hands down the best japeleno ranch dip ever!
