The Cowboy pizza we brought home was tasteless. All crust very little pizza sauce and toppings. The Cowboy usually has a great taste but it seems like every time we use the Papa Murphy’s in Stanwood we get inferior pizza compared to the Papa Murphy’s in Mount Vernon. This is about the 4th and last time we will be using the Stanwood location. Not sure why the stores don’t operate the same but it’s obvious they don’t.
My pizza was ready when I arrived at the store and it was accurate to my order. Not really dine in, so Atmosphere is really NA - only ding was the wood storefront (not their fault) from car coming into shop :-)
Love papa Murphy’s. Easy ordering and ready when you walk in the door. Very tasty!
We were very excited to get the Outlaw new pizza. When o came in to pick it up, I didn’t even recognize it because it basically looked like a plain cheese pizza. I then saw some Fritos (barely) but took it anyway after cooking it, I had to go back to the menu to see what was supposed to be on it. Brisket? What brisket? Cheetos? Maybe less than a dozen. This was basically a garlic sauce and motzerella version of a plain cheese pizza. Th other person sharing the pizza with me asked was this supposed to have cheese on it? ‘nuf said.
Most visits are very good. Good pizza and service. I can deal with kids making a pizza that looks like it was made with eyes closed. I can even deal with a Cowboy that weighs 10 oz. What I can’t deal with is the current rumor that the sausage is no longer available. Last Cowboy purchased had the crumble sausage (same as used in NY XL), which is NOT acceptable. They told me on today’s visit that they will be using that moving forward. So I will say good bye and good luck. The Cowboy was a favorite going back years and years. Doesn’t taste even close without the sausage.
