Panda Express

This manager and his team are simply the best! This was one of the first places we had dinner, after getting moved to Solana Beach, last year. For as long as I can remember, “spicy chicken”, which is Panda Express’s Orange chicken, to my son, is his happy place. Justin remembers us, he knows our order and he and his team always welcome us with a smile. This has become a weekly tradition for us, and we really appreciate the hospitality and wonderful experience every time! I also consistently observe leadership leading by example here, highly engaged and present, and creating a personalized experience for customers and you don’t always see that today. Thank you for giving us something to look forward to every week!

I don’t agree with Panda Express management to keep the extra change because the government stopped the production of pennies. They have to either round up the prices or do something about it. In my case it was only 7 cents, but it adds up with every customer that chooses to pay with cash. At the end it’s not benefiting to the customer, but it sure benefits the food chain. What about doing it the other way around? Charging the consumer those cents less instead of the food chain keeping all the extra cents. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm in Panda Solana Beach at least 2 nights a week. Normally the staff is great. However, they have all new people the night of 1/8/25. The initial person who took my order was extremely rude and obviously didn't want to be there as he never asked if I wanted egg rolls or anything extra but I didn't let that stop me. However, after my food was boxed and ready to go, they tended to Uber orders that weren't even there to be picked up while my hot food sat there. I asked to be checked out and all three employees started arguing with me. I was finally able to pay after making an issue out of it. I told the guy, you can understand why I'm a bit frustrated... There's nobody behind me, nobody is here to pick up Uber orders, and my food is getting cold. He argued some more so I just walked out. If

Ordered walnut shrimp bowl. 2 walnuts and the shrimp tasted old. Asked fod steamed but got brown rice. Wasn't fried rice. It had nothing but rice. Take out. So you dont realize until it is too late! Money in the Garbage

Really don’t recommend this place. Even the manager is rude - the one who sets an example for the rest of the crew. In fact most of this complaint is about the manager. There was only one person in front of me when we arrived and after they were served, they said “please give us a moment and will be with you shortly” fair enough, they were refilling the meals and getting things ready. But when it came time to serve me and my two kids, the lady noticed there was a line forming behind me and was incredibly rude trying to push us through their assembly chain. I asked for a full meal and side for my daughter. Then asked about allergens for my second daughter and by then the manager dismissed me and tried to serve the person behind me.
