Pamlico Deli

For a year, I wanted to try this place. And I finally did in September 2025. I almost hate to write this review because I really do support local places in the Outer Banks. Maybe it was just a bad day. But I spent $16.00 on a small container of vinegar coleslaw (not good) and small container of loaded potato potato salad and a quarter pound of ham. The ham was delicious. I must say, it almost was like fresh ham cut to order. But the vinegar coleslaw was horrible. All you tasted was this bitterness, and a horseradish taste. Not to mention the color was off putting and everyone who tasted it at the house did not like it. The potato salad had this weird color as well to the potatoes. They were gray. Fantastic food and very kind owner and staff! My husband and I had the C&C sandwich (turkey & ham) and the Rueben. Both were delicious!!! We have found another favorite and will visit every time we are in the area!!

This place is excellent! We ordered a RT. 12 sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was so soft and fresh and they use very good quality meat. I also got a piece of pistachio cake to go. It was light and delicious. Comfy seating on the front porch if you'd like to be outside while eating. This place was worth the drive down from Salvo.

We drove down from Nagshead, so it was a little bit of a drive...but oh so worth it! Excellent sandwichs. Service was good. Atmosphere was so relaxing, we sat on the porch, our needs were met with a smile. Chocolate dessert was a great way to top off our lunch. If you are in the area, it's a must stop.
