Frisco Bay Coastal Grill

We were in the Outer Banks for a week during off-season, and early on during our trip we stopped at this establishment. We loved it so much that we went 3 times while on our vacation. We had dinner twice, and breakfast once. The dinner highlights were the fresh, delicious pamlico sound shrimp. The shrimp were all cooked to perfection and delicious. The Chile Relleno was delicious as well either with the local Mahi, or with the blackened chicken. The cocktails were great, and the beer on tap selection was good with mostly local beer. Friendly, well located, and tasty food. Open during the winter months and offering good food. They have a variety of options, offering seafood and beef options. Their location has a good water view that provides a pleasant view from outdoor seating in warmer months. Love their local beer options on tap.

We got breakfast here on our way back to Raleigh, NC. The food was so good, the prices were reasonable, and the service is really good! I love that their is a bit of Mexican style mixed into the breakfast menu. If we ever visit the Outer Banks again we will DEFINITELY come back here. I almost forgot to mention but the view out of the window is absolutely gorgeous. We also got a shirt!

We absolutely loved this place- the service was excellent, and the restaurant offers a calm, relaxed vibe with beautiful water views. As for the food, the Oysters Rockefeller were hands down the best I’ve ever had and instantly became a favorite. The crab cake sandwich is another must-try; it was truly delicious. The clams, however, were just average and a bit basic compared to the rest of the dishes. Overall, aside from the clams, everything we tried was fantastic. I definitely recommend this spot for a quick brunch or lunch.
