Frisco Beach

Best beach on the island. Great ocean visibility. Many days you can stand in chest deep water and still see your feet.

Clean beach, very rustic bathrooms. Showers and plenty of parking. Great place to watch the sunset. On the Atlantic side across the road, it's a difficult hike over the dunes. There is a lot of waves on the Atlantic side. The inlet side is perfect for families with small kids.

Frisco Beach is amazing! We went a bit further south from where the shower parking lot is. There is another small parking lot on the sound side, and you can just cross and go right over a small dune. I loved this beach because it is right after the turn in the islands, and you are actually facing south, so the surf is not as rough and you don't have to deal with a bunch of sandblaster waves trying to get in the water. Afterward, we drove back up to the other lot and used the showers and facilities to get cleaned up. Such a blessing!!!

Such a gorgeous part of the beach. Happy to see the folks taking such good of the sea turtles. Clean, we'll kept. The shower area was clean and we'll kept.

Amazing! Worth the drive from wherever you are! There are not a lot of beaches like this left .. secluded and beautiful, with a bathroom 😉
